Grandson of the legendary Kundan Lal Gujral, Monish Gujral isn’t just a face of the 93-year-old restaurant Moti Mahal and its franchisee, but also the custodian of some of the richest traditional cuisines of the India. The brain behind the famous Moti Mahal Delux Tandoori Trail restaurant concept, a tribute to his grandfather, Monish is often credited for giving the iconic Delhi-based eatery a contemporary makeover and a MNC standard. A traditionalist by thought, Gujral has remained true to the signature dishes that made Moti Mahal a legend, while reinventing the dining experience into one that is exciting and avant garde to suit modern sensibilities. It is his ethos that the family run business has four restaurants in Delhi to more than 100 outlets across India, with a plan to double in the next five years. His secret: Quality, consistency and Location.

Moti Mahal is a chain of restaurants with over 90 franchisees in India starting with Moti Mahal restaurant established by Kundan Lal Gujral in DaryaGanj, Delhi. It was first Indian Restaurant to introduce Tandoori Cuisine to the world and today has over 100 outlets across the world.
